A balanced gentle flow class including:
-Breathing practice to help calm the nervous system, prepare your body and mind for labour and birth and increase confidence.
-Yoga postures to help relieve tension as well as increase strength, flexibility and endurance of muscles needed for childbirth
-Pelvic floor exercises to help shorten the stages of labour and heal the perineum after birth
-Relaxation to help improve your nights sleep
-Fun, friendly environment to help you to connect deeper with your baby, and meet other like minded mummies to be
This specialist yoga class is to prepare and assist your body physically, emotionally and mentally, adapting to the many changes that pregnancy brings about, to focus on your baby, and helping you for labour birth and afterwards.
- Beginners to yoga are welcome
- Suitable for after your first scan (12 weeks), until the end of pregnancy
- Please bring a mat with you if possible, i will have some mats available if needed

Cancellations Policy
When booking a block of classes I do ask for commitment of the block due to limited spaces in the class, changes can be made in exceptional circumstances. If you need to cancel/change a booking please make sure you get in contact with me 48hrs before the first class starts.
Birth Preparation Workshop

This one off evening workshop workshop combines Yoga and Hypnobirthing techniques to give you a comprehensive base for your birth preparation.
The workshop is for mums-to-be and birth partners, or solo if you wish.
Session 1 - Yoga with Elise Barnes, EB Yoga
Showing you how to move your body with the help of your partner and use of props, creating the space and softness within you, to birth your baby with ease.
You will be guided as an individual and a couple through different postures, simple pain relief using massage techniques, breathing techniques to allow you to rest and give that boost of energy when needed as well as great birthing positions to help and allow for a more open and comfortable labor. (The partner’s support in postures during labor can be so helpful and bonding). We make time for relaxation allowing you to let go of any apprehensions; this gorgeously nurturing practice allows you to stop and take time for you and your baby, giving you the space to connect with this incredible little person growing within you.
This is a fun and informative workshop where a role is created for the birthing partner so please come comfortably dressed and be prepared to get on the floor and join in!
Session 2 - Hypnobirthing with Charlotte Edun, The Good Birth Practice
Relaxation in pregnancy isn't just a indulgent treat - it has a practical effect, as when you are relaxed & confident your body produces lots of lovely Oxytocin, the primary hormone of labour.
In this session you'll learn about the hormones of birth & the practical things you can do to influence them. We'll discuss the importance of the birth environment & how you can use relaxation & breathing techniques to help you focus, feel confident & at ease.
The session will end with a guided relaxation session, and includes a link to a meditation download.
**No yoga experience is necessary and it is ideal for couples but students coming on their own are more than welcome. Suitable for students from 32 weeks or can be taken earlier if it suits your schedule better.
